Its a start...

Could be better. Adding sections such as : Paid Invoices, Unpaid invoices for ALL your clients would be great. Also reminders would be very nice too...If you could tell this app to send you an email if an invoice is not payed in lets say, 3-4 weeks, that would be a very nice feature. Adding labels to invoices (colors) would also be a good way to organize your invoices. Its currently too plain and basic but has good potential.

Totally useless for us. Can not add second tax and very difficult to move around in.

Decent App for What it is meant for

Could use some more features but for what it does and at the price point, it does it well. Use it for invoicing sonsilting hours to customers and meets that need.

Dont buy it! Waste of money!

People dont even think to buy this app, its 100% waste of money! I dont know why Apple still keeps this app in the store, but its totaly look like notepad. Useless! Overpriced, real price for this thinhs should be free!!! Be careful!

Dont Bother

This program looks good but when it comes to adding more than a few items to the invoice, it stops printing, emailing or saving as pdf. Terrible app.

Works well for our needs

Some of the reviews of earlier versions almost scared me off, but for such a great price-point and with such a great-looking layout, I decided to give the current version a try. I’ve had no trouble thus far, and found it to be easy to use and suitable for my needs of invoicing clients for our small bussiness. Thought I would throw in a possitive review for the folks who put this handy tool together! Some small suggestions for things that would be nice for future releases… -A hot key or click-in-field for adding items to an invoice -using arrows to advance up and down lines in edit mode -previews and some more cusimization of invoice templates -options to mark individual items on invoices as PAID -similarily to the Quote and Invoice modes, an option for a Reciept mode would be nice -removal of the glitch that makes ‘No Name’ Appear after the first name until you go back and delete it again Thanks!

SLOW and Crash

Always Crash OSX 10.6.8 and all is very slow. please FIx all problem.

Needs Improvement

The biggest one, it does not support fractions, since Im a contractor I need to work with partial hours. I cant record if I work 2.5 hours. Actually it lets me set it but it doesnt multiply 2.5 times my rate, it multiplies 2 by my rate. Then I would like to completely remove the VAT column, but I cant, at least I can disable it. I would like to default VAT to disable and have Paid uncheck as a default, but I cant. I need to do that every time I create a new invoice. If they fixed the fraction problem, then I would give it a better score.

Nice Easy App but...

As others have mentioned--cant correctly work with fractions of hours and cant customize/change/remove columns (cant get rid of VAT! etc). Bottom line, its a nice app but it needs work--hopefully the developer will note these reviews and can make some changes.

Getting There

With more then 3,000 clients we cant affordt to manually add in each person. In order to use this product which it really seems like a good one we would need the proposed changes you stated in the most recent update as well as the ability to import a whole group of people in at once. Thanks and keep up the good work.

Very Basic Invoicing App

For 1.99 its fine. Doesnt have any features other than to create some clients and create some invoices within those clients. You can then either print them out or save them to PDF and do what you want with them. I would like to see the ability to email invoices right from the app and also be able to move "paid" invoices to another folder.

Save your 2 bucks.

Might be the most simplistic invoice application I have ever seen. Seems extremely rushed. I understand its only two dollars, but its worthless on almost every level. You have to be absolutely certain you type in the least amount text possible in the extremely limited number of fields or things get cut off. It would be great if the developer at least allowed carriage returns to be entered into the fields as to seperate text a little, but as I said before its only two bucks. Would I buy it again? Absolutely not.

Please do not buy this app , You can not create a formail invoice , it does not bill to ship to , you can not include shippign cost a. I wasted my 2.19 USD please do not . do not buy this app

Waste of $2

A waste! Your billing lines cant have lenghty descrptions. I need to often write paragraphs of detailed work done, get Invoice pro if you are looking for a cheap $2 app. I only invoice once or twice a week, if i did it daily Id buy one of the $40 apps

Seems good if youre in the UK

The version I downloaded has only the option to address an invoice using a UK format. Hopefully, a later version will include addrressing capabilities for the US and other countries. Its a simple interface, ideal for small business and personal billing. Id recommend it, despite being hampered with the formatting issued.

It Does The Job!

Reading the reviews its pretty funny how folks bash this simple app so hard and yes its a very basic but straight to the point app at that. Im a freelance illustrator and this app does the job perfectly! For those running a business *ahem why dont you buck up the real cash for a more sophistcated invoicing app instead of being so frugal. The whole point of this app is to input the customers info get the order process started and mail it off by PDF. Its just that simple! Personally it seems like its a growing app and Im sure itll get much better so to say NOT to waste your money on it is laughable! People spend more on CANDY than what they do for this APP. Deal with it.

Terrible

All I needed was something super basic. This does that OK. However it doesnt remember what you typed into a field unless you hit "Tab" or "Return". An annoying message comes up everytime you hit "Save". The print/email/save PDF only works 1 time and you have to quit and relaunch the app. And one of the worst is a field labeled "Kind Regards" is editable but it doesnt save after you close the dialog. So I am stuck with every freaking invoice saying "Kind Regards". Would have gotten 5 stars from me if I could print without restarting and fields were saved across launches.
